What is flat feet and how to check them?

Flat-footed people are 50% more likely to experience back pain compared to people with normal or high arches😳. Our bodies are an interlinked chain of muscles, tendons, and tissue blending together. 💪

This interconnected system is the main reason flat feet (pes planus) may cause back pain. A flat foot means that your arches are weakend and ankles are misaligned, which causes the bones and muscles in your foot and legs to connect differently. This affects the joints higher up which leads to your knee and hips and your back, and affects the way you walk.
